Outbound Flow Prompt playing despite removed

We were using the Default Outbound Flow in our Queue, however we were unhappy with the outbound whisper 'This call is not being recorded', so we have removed the prompt, however the whisper is still playing on outbound calls.

We have then created our own custom outbound flow and linked this in the queue. The custom outbound flow has no audio prompt element in the flow. The outbound whisper 'This call is not being recorded' is STILL playing.

I have confirmed that the Routing Profile is referencing the queue that has the updated outbound flow (outbound whisper).

What do I need to do to fix this?

After updating the Default Outbound flow insure that the flow is saved and published.

Of course, this is Flow 101....everything is Saved and Published and the problem persists.

Follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Enable Flow logs under Connect in the AWS Console -> Instance -> Flows
  2. Make a new inbound call
  3. Find the contact id for the inbound call under Analytics -> Contact Lens -> Contact Search
  4. Navigate to Cloudwatch Logs in the AWS Console -> Log groups -> connect log group
  5. Confirm the correct ContactFlow and ContactFlowModules used by connect match the interface

If the contact flow in the cloudwatch logs does not match the expected flow, then trace the flow in the interface starting under Phone Numbers to see what initial flow is selected for the phone number then follow each Transfer to Flow that is made in the path.
