Two EC2 Instances stuck "stopping"

Hi, two of my ec2 instances in ca-central-1a hung at approx 15:20 (UK time)
I've tried to stop them, but they've been stuck in the "stopping" state for over 10 minutes now.
Can anyone help?

both stopped now - not sure if that was AWS action or just time passing... anyway. resolved.
