Is it just in the home screen for AWS Console that you are seeing the running total for this month, but you haven't yet received an invoice? It's normal to see what appears to be a non-zero charge mid-month, which will become a zero-charge when Free Tier entitlements are applied and an invoice is generated at the end of the month.

But anyway, look at your usage and check you are in-scope of Free Tier, where only t2.micro (and t3.micro where applicable) EC2 instances are in-scope, for a combined total of 750 hours per month. Stopped instances do not count towards this, but any attached volumes will remain chargeable.

EBS has a limit of 30GB per month in Free Tier.

For RDS, instances of type db.t3.micro or db.t4g.micro are in-scope of Free Tier along with 20GB of storage https://aws.amazon.com/rds/free/

Public IPv4 addresses are usually chargeable, but are within Free Tier for EC2 only, so if you have a public IPv4 address on your RDS instance this is likely going to accrue costs https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2024/02/aws-free-tier-750-hours-free-public-ipv4-addresses/

Hello,

Sorry for any trouble.

Here are the specifics for the included services within our AWS Free Tier. I'd also recommend connecting with our Billing team for further support if needed. You can open a support case, here.
