When the verified identity is a domain, you can only receive from verified domains and sub-domains of that domain. Full details regarding this topic are available on this page, Creating and verifying identities in Amazon SES. I hope this helps.

You should be able to receive emails from all domains, but sending will be restricted if you account is still in the sandbox. To see if your rules are working correctly, you can view the email receiving metrics.

We have no issues sending emails. The issue is related to receiving emails I added this MX record '@ inbound.smtp.eu-west-1.amazonses.com. (Priority: 10) ' and added a rule set, activated it, and created a rule with no action or specific domain/email but I can only receive emails from my domain emails. When I send emails from any other email that is not related to our domain it's not reaching our inbox.
If you are unable to receive emails, and there are no errors in the metrics, then please raise a support case as we need more information about your specific account to troubleshoot further. Do you have more than one mx record for the root domain?
