Unable to create a new revision of Task Definition

When viewing a task definition on ECS I clicked on Create New Revision. Without changing anything I clicked Create and get the error "Unable to create a new revision of Task Definition <task definition name>". There is no more descriptive error and the console logs a 400 POST Bad Request with no error message. How can I update my task definition? Thanks!

Hello Laine,

I've seen such cases arise when the iam user doesn't have sufficient permissions when creating the new revision. Could you please check your cloudtrail api calls at the time of the issue and see if you can find any failures.
