August 5, 2023 AWS Snow Service issue - Status & Impact?

0

The note below still appears on the AWS Snow page.
What is the status of this issue now almost 2 months old? Is this issue specific to AWS US GovCloud? Where is the "mitigation timeline" mentioned below? Does this mean loaded Snowball appliances already scheduled for ingest into S3 are on-hold indefinitely?

"Note: Beginning August 5, 3:49 PM PDT, AWS Snow service is experiencing service disruption impacting data ingestion and new order fulfillment off all Snow devices. We are continuing to work on addressing the issue. Due to the complexity of the matter, the Snow team requires additional time to complete and verify its mitigation. Once the root cause has been mitigated, the Snow team will share details about the start of the device's shipment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have an urgent need for data migration to AWS that cannot be accommodated within our mitigation timeline, please consider using AWS DataSync as an alternative to AWS Snow."
