ELB A record returns an timing out ip address

Hi all my ELB dns A record returns 3 ip addresses and 1 of those ip addresses actually times out. How can I update this A record and get rid of the invalid ip address?

My elb is dualstack.8d81e30f-ezycomps-prodezyu-5ab4-1625245326.us-west-2.elb.amazonaws.com.

I found out that one of my public subnets was not properly configured with internet gateways. Once I changed my subnets route table to proper public-facing route table it started working.
