Burrow monitoring for MSK

Is Burrow still useful for MSK clusters?

In the past I have used Burrow to monitor consumer lag. Various blogs have instructions to install Burrow for MSK, but any references to that seem to have disappeared lately. Have the client lag metrics in recent MSK versions mostly obviated the need for tools such as Burrow?

Hi there, with consumer lag metrics now available in cloudwatch (1) it is currently the recommended way to monitor the consumer lag even though burrow is still an option. It is true that consumer lag metrics in cloudwatch obviated the need for tools such as Burrow.
