Here are the answers to your questions:
- Is there an auto sign out / time out functionality? If a user walks away will the web client time-out and revert to sign on screen?
Yes, this timeout is given by Galaxy (the Directory Service). A users gets an access token that is valid for a short time and refresh token that is valid for 7 days. Every time you use the refresh token you get a new one that is again valid for 7 days. You can do this for a total of 30 days and then you need to log in again. So, as long as the user has the browser open, it shouldn't be logged out for 30 days.
- Where would we forward MX RECORDS too?
Depending on which region the WorkMail organization resides:
For the US East (N. Virginia) Region, the record must be: 10 inbound-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com For the EU (Ireland) Region, the record must be: 10 inbound-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com For the US West (Oregon) Region, the record must be: 10 inbound-smtp.us-west-2.amazonaws.com
- What is the process if a user wants to see what is being blocked via the Spam filter?
WorkMail uses SES to send/receive emails, when the spam filter for incoming messages determine that a given email is spam, it will tag it, and the message will be placed in the Junk folder (SES only drop emails that contain virus). Unfortunately there isn't a centralized console to monitor which emails has been marked as Spam.
Hope this helps with your query.
