Phone has blocked SMS

As of 7/19 we have started seeing SMS failures with the message "Phone has blocked SMS." I tried to send to my personal number and received this error. I have not blocked SMS and ensured I am opted in to messages. Failure is occurring across multiple carriers. What could be the issue?

I would recommend that you open a support case to address this issue.

I don't have a support contract. I discovered that the problem was a tinyurl in the SMS was blocked by the carrier.
