New domain on Route 53 - Non-Existent Domain

0

Dear Sir/Madam

I registered a domain at Route 53. And I got an e-mail "Errors encountered while registering my-domain.org". I followed the instructions in e-mail and added a hosted zone. But I still get "Non-Existent Domain". Any help? Thanks a lot.

Hello.

If you have any issues registering your domain with Route53, I recommend that you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing".
Inquiries under "Account and billing" can be made free of charge.

The step missed is adding name servers assigned to the hosted zone back to the Registered domain:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/Route53/latest/DeveloperGuide/domain-name-servers-glue-records.html#domain-name-servers-glue-records-adding-changing

I wonder if it is because I got issues registering the domain (and therefore there is no name server under the registered domain). Or it is a manual step that I have to add the name servers assigned manually.
