Editing Quicksight cost intelligence dashboard

So in the CID dashboard you will find the filter option (filter icon) on the widget. Click on it and then select "view dashboard filters". Once you click on "view dashboard filters" on the right side of the page you will see filter options wherein you should see an option to filter basis "billing period"

In Amazon QuickSight, you can customize how dates are formatted in your filter and parameter controls.
