Pearson Vue issue, do I need to wait 14 days?

I had a technical issue, which appears fairly common, trying to take an exam on 09/11. The exam was interrupted. After many hours with customer service, they gave me a voucher for a new test, and told me I could reschedule. I rescheduled for Monday 09/13. However, I got an email from AWS today that I of course failed the exam (since I only got halfway through before the technical issue on Pearson Vue's end happened), and that I can reattempt in 14 days. I spoke with the Pearson Vue customer service and they told me my results from tomorrow's exam will count, and I also contacted AWS certification support, but I know it will take time for them to get back to me. I just wanna get this exam over with, should I expect any issues on AWS's end with accepting my new results from the exam I take tomorrow? Thank you!

If you experienced a technical issue, we will remove the fail from your account. Pearson VUE will provide us with the necessary information and you should see that result disappear within a few days. AWS will not have any problem accepting your new result from your 9/13 exam.

I apologize, I was mistaken, I currently can't reschedule within the 14 day waiting period. Pearson has cancelled my 9/11 test, but it still shows as a fail. I spoke with someone just a few min ago, and they said the system still wouldn't let them reschedule. Do I need to say something specific to Pearson VUE to get them to properly report the test as cancelled or interrupted? Has it already been and it will just take a few days? This is my registration ID of the original exam: 405644479‎.

I'm on their chat now, and Pearson is refusing to do anything about, and they can't fix anything.

I have removed the fail result from your account and you should be able to schedule a new exam without waiting the 14-day retake period.
