Subscribing to email reports in Amazon QuickSight

Hello,

My understanding is that you want to know how to change filters at dashboard that exported to your email. Please do correct me if my understanding varies from your query.

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the filter directly from the dashboard or scheduled reports.

If you want to export each dashboard with different filters, you need to apply the filter in Analysis and then publish the dashboard. For example, if you want to receive a dashboard with Filter#1 applied to Visual A in Analysis A and a dashboard with Filter#2 applied to Visual A in Analysis A by email, you must publish two dashboards with Filter#1 and Filter#2 applied, respectively.

As you already know, please refer below to publish the Dashboard by applying a filter. [1] [2]

1. Select Visual > select Filter at Visual's upper right, or select Flitter from the left menu.
2. Add Filter > Select the field you want to apply Filter > Set specific values to apply through that filter > click Apply
3. After filter applied to the Visual, select Share > Publish Dashboard in the upper right corner of the screen

If you want to publish a dashboard with different filters, you can repeat the above process again with different filter.

Next, you can send a dashboard from either once or on a schedule by following below : [3]

1. Open Dashboard you want to export > choose Schedules at top left corner > Schdeules > Add Schedule
2. In the 'New Schedule' pane, enter schedule name
3. In the 'Content' pane, choose report format (PDF or CSV)
4. In the 'Send On' pane, choose frequency and start / end date.
5. In the 'Email' pane, you can enter email or choose user groups that you want to receive the report.
6. Click 'SAVE' when it's done, and choose 'Save and Run now' if you want to send report immediately.
