EVE-NG (virtualisation) on AWS

0

Hi, I've seen a lot of tutorials on how to run EVE-NG on GCP free tier because AWS does not allow nested virtualisation on its free tier. EVE-NG allows you to build networking labs using virtual devices. link here incase you're interested : https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/features/

I have a home ESXi server lab, but need to be more mobile, so am looking at moving my EVE-NG lab to the cloud. Setting up several instances of EVE-NG so that I can spin up a "small", "medium", "large" lab depending on what I want to do. EVE-NG is really cool in that they allow you to transfer your license to a number of guest VMs as long as you only run one at a time.

Is there anything special I need to consider if I want to build an EVE-NG lab. eg do I need to select a certain EC2 instance to run nested virtualisation?

Also if I do all the configuration work on my home lab (eg build all of the test VMs and network labs) can I then beef up the VM CPU/RAM/HDD when I import it to AWS, or do I need to keep the same HW settings?

Thanks for your help
