how import website to aws lightsail using updraftplus ?

0

Hi there, I'm having trouble importing my WordPress website (which has custom code in it) to AWS Lightsail. I set up the clean install WordPress on Lightsail using Linux/Unix method and created an instance with a static IP. I'm importing my website using the updraft plus plugin. Can someone please give me a tutorial on how to successfully import it using Updraft, because previously when I imported it, I got a fatal error notification and the new website on AWS Lightsail not working. Thank you

Hello,

Please try this solution it will be helpful for you.

To import your WordPress website to AWS Lightsail using UpdraftPlus, start by creating a Lightsail instance with the WordPress blueprint and attaching a static IP. On your existing WordPress site, install and activate the UpdraftPlus plugin, then create a backup and download the backup files. Next, log in to your Lightsail WordPress site, install and activate UpdraftPlus, and upload the backup files. Restore the backup by selecting all components. Troubleshoot any issues by increasing memory limits and execution time in the wp-config.php file, ensuring proper file permissions, and enabling debugging to check for errors. Finally, update your DNS settings to point your domain to the Lightsail instance's static IP. This process should migrate your WordPress site to AWS Lightsail successfully.

please look at AWS Document link you will get more information.
