What's the threshhold to get ROI on intelligent tiering in S3?

0

I think I saw a chart sometime that shows that S3 Intelligent Tiering is worth the tiering fee once a file is above a certain object size. I was trying to find that file size / equation.

Hi

S3 Intelligent-Tiering has a minimum eligible object size of 128 KB.
This means that objects smaller than 128KB will not be monitored and never be moved from the Frequent Access tier.
From an ROI perspective you should enable even if you have objects below 128KB because those will just be ignored but objects that are larger will be monitored and moved, thus saving money for you.

You probably want to take a look at S3 Pricing for full details.

Hope this helps.
