Hello,
Thank you so much for your question on Re:Post! My name is RJ and I will be addressing your inquiry today.
I understand while using the copy/paste functionality with the AWS Workspaces client for MacOS, the client encounters the spinning wheel.
After provisioning a new test environment with the same configuration as provided, I was able to successfully copy and paste text between my local MacOS device and Workspace using the latest AWS Workspace Client.
To help resolve this experience, please consider the following actions:
- Update/Upgrade the Workspaces Client to the latest release, download here
- Review and consider any available vendor-specific updates for your local device.
Please consider opening a Premium Support case in order to engage with a support engineer and dive deeper into the troubleshooting.

What version of WorkSpaces are you using? It would help if you could provide more details on the operation, e.g. Are trying to copy data bigger than set limit?
