FTP Server Connection Fails at Retrieving Directory Listing
I'm using cPanel/WHM within Amazon Lightsail. I've created a new user in WHM and configured FTP and Shell access through WHM.
Now, as shown in the attached image, I'm attempting to connect to FTP using Filezilla, but I'm unable to establish a connection. It consistently shows "Retrieving directory listing..." and then the connection is dropped.
Certainly, I can connect using the default ec2-user provided by Lightsail using SFTP. However, my goal is to connect via FTP using the user created in WHM.
I would appreciate it if you could review the image and provide guidance on resolving this issue.!

Hello.
Looking at the logs, it seems that the connection is using FTP passive mode, but are the port numbers allowed by Lightsail's firewall correct?
If no port number is set on the FTP server side, one of the ports between 49152 - 65534 will be used.

FTP requires ports 20 & 21 to be open, and it looks like your security group is only allowing traffic on 21.
