URGENT: Multiple Unassigned Support Tickets for Account Verification - 3+ Days Without Access

Account Verification Failure - Multiple Unassigned Support Cases

I've been trying to complete AWS account verification for the past 3 days and am completely blocked from accessing any AWS services. Despite submitting multiple support tickets, all cases remain unassigned with no response.

Issue Details:

Account verification failing at CloudFront Distribution Creation Error message: Your account must be verified before you can add new CloudFront resources. To verify your account, please contact AWS Support (https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/home#/) and include this error message. Multiple support tickets submitted over 3 days All tickets show "Unassigned" status Case numbers: [********, **********, **********] What I've Tried:

Cleared browser cache and cookies Tried different browsers Verified phone number format with country code Confirmed payment method is valid Submitted multiple support tickets All standard troubleshooting steps Business Impact:

Cannot access any AWS services I participated in AWS Acitvate program and was approved but I cannot launch my Product without the activation/verification of my account. Request: I need immediate escalation to resolve this account verification issue. The support ticket system appears to have a processing problem as multiple cases remain unassigned for days.

Can an AWS employee please help escalate this or provide alternative contact method for account verification issues?

Thank you for any assistance.

Hi,

I have done all the above and have not yet seen anyone assigned to the case I opened. All my cases are unassigned at this time. I really appreaciate if the case can be escalated and resolved and get me off form the blocker. Do I need to buy Business support to get the Billing support to get this resolved? Please advise as I am virtually stuck and not able to move forward. Appreciate if you can please have a look and suggest urgently.

  • Hi Ben, Thank you. Can you tell me if my upgrading to the Business Support plan will help? I already upgraded but I did not see any phone support listed. So I am not sure how these plans work. Appreciate any clarification. Regards, Aroni

Dear AWS Support Team,

I have not seens any update on the case or assignment for the last 24 hrs so I decided to upgrade my support to Business just to get the help to get my case resolved. I have been given a time of 4 hrs now for someone to respond to me on email I do not even get a phone contact to call and resolve. I am a bit concerned that I am still not able to get any help and get my account issuse fixed. I am at this time at wits end unfortunately. Not sure what is going on at all

I understand your frustration with the AWS account verification issues you're experiencing. This is certainly disruptive, especially when you're trying to launch a product through the AWS Activate program.

When account verification issues persist and support tickets remain unassigned for multiple days, it can be concerning. Here are some steps you can take to help resolve this situation:

  1. Focus on a single support case rather than creating multiple tickets. Having several open cases on the same issue might actually slow down the resolution process rather than expedite it.

  2. Make sure your support case is properly categorized:

  • Select "Account and billing support"
  • For Type, choose "Account"
  • For Category, select "Account Activation"
  • Provide clear details about your verification issue
  1. In your support case description, include:
  • The specific error message you're receiving
  • The impact on your business and AWS Activate participation
  • A specific date and time when you can be reached
  • Select "Chat" as your contact method if available, as this might provide faster response
  1. Check all email addresses associated with your AWS account, including spam folders, for any communications from AWS.

  2. Ensure all your contact information in the AWS account is up-to-date.

Support cases are typically answered in the order they're received, which might explain the delay. However, 3+ days without any response is unusual. Rest assured that you can create and manage support cases even if your account isn't fully activated yet, and AWS Support should be able to help you complete your account verification process.

If you're part of the AWS Activate program, you might also try reaching out to your AWS Activate contact for assistance, as they may have alternative channels to help escalate your issue.
