Hello,
I understand that you are facing some unusual errors in Glue such as “Initial job has not accepted any resources; check your cluster UI to ensure that workers are registered and have sufficient resources“ and jobs are taking longer to start and run.
Please note that the error “Initial job has not accepted any resources; check your cluster UI to ensure that workers are registered and have sufficient resources“ usually are transient issue in Glue which are observed if the resources are unavailable in the backend to execute the job leading the job to timeout or running for long.
This error occurs in scenarios if they is an ongoing AWS issue due to which it does not have enough resources on their end to run your Glue job. These issue usually get resolved in some time and on retrying the Jobs again in a couple of hours or next day the issue no longer happens.
Hence, this issue does not seem to be because of recent update to the dashboard. You can also check out the below link to understand some scenarios that might be resulting in Glue Job to run for a longer time: https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/glue-job-running-long
