Amazon Quick Flow Application Actions step shows blank connector/action even though integration status is Available

0

I created a new app integration for Actions in Amazon Quick. The integration appears under Existing Actions and its status shows as Available.

However, when I create a Quick Flow, add a step, and select Actions / Application actions, both the Action connector and Action fields appear blank. I also get the following validation error:

"Please fix the following errors to run, share, or publish changes to your flow Action connector required, Action required in Action"

I am trying to understand what could cause this behavior and how to resolve it.

Specific questions that I have:

  • Why would an action integration show as Available under Existing Actions but still not appear in a Quick Flow Application Actions step?
  • Are there additional requirements such as admin enablement, permissions, sharing, publishing, or authentication that must be completed before the connector becomes usable in Quick Flows?
  • Are some action connector types supported only in Quick Automate and not in Quick Flow?
  • What troubleshooting steps would you recommend to determine whether this is caused by a permissions issue, connector configuration issue, or a product limitation?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

When an integration in Amazon Quick displays a status of Available but does not appear within the Quick Flow Application Actions step, the issue is typically related to connector compatibility or configuration. Certain connector types, such as REST API–based actions, are not supported in Quick Flows and instead require OpenAPI integration. In addition, administrative enablement, publishing, and permission settings may affect whether the connector is visible and usable within Quick Flows.
