Data storage of SiteWise portals

Question

Hi ! Using SiteWise portals I can see an overview of my data in a dashboard, but I haven't been able to find where that data is being stored. I would like to find that data to generate a PDF report. Thanks!

Hi. Data is stored in the hot tier and, optionally, the cold tier: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/iot-sitewise/latest/userguide/manage-data-storage.html. You can use the SiteWise get API Operations to access the data. You can use the CLI or SDKs such as boto3.

If you have the cold tier enabled, you might consider to use services like Amazon Athena and Amazon QuickSight for your reports.
