FTR lens for AWS Well-Architected Tool

1

Hi, is there an FTR lens for the AWS Well Architect Tools service? I verify that it was introduced on December 3, 2020 and removed on December 14, 2022 (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/wellarchitected/latest/userguide/doc-history.html). Is there a subset such as a custom lens for FTR requirements? What was the reason for eliminating the FTR lens from AWS Well Architect Tools service?

Thanks

Hello

The FTR lens has been retired. You can find more information about FTR in the FTR guide : https://partnercentral.awspartner.com/partnercentral2/s/resources?Id=0690h00000BGRJhAAP

The FTR (Foundational Technical Review) differs from the Well-Architected Framework as its scope is significantly narrower, focusing on a subset of best practices from the Security, Reliability, and Operational Excellence pillars.

The FTR is not intended as a replacement for a full Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR). In fact, it is recommended to conduct a self-review across the entire Well-Architected Framework of their solution as part of completing an FTR.

Hope this helps
