Hello,

EFA stands for Elastic Fabric Adapter, a technology we can enable on our ec2 instance in AWS, commonly used for HCP. This can, however, only be activated for Linux machines. Enabling EFA will enable higher bandwidth and lower latency. The difference between 300Gbps and 25Gbps is how much data can be transferred from one end to the other per second. Using EFA for HCP is important because, in most cases like ML, you need data that is exchanged at a high rate.
