Exchange my current convertible reserved "Windows (Amazon VPC), t3.medium instance" to "Windows t3.medium Instance"

I have a running "On-Demand Windows t3.medium instance". To convert this to a reserved instance billing, I bought a convertible reserved "Windows (Amazon VPC), t3.medium instance".

However, I am told that this does not match my existing running instance. How can I exchange or convert my reserved instance to match my on-demand instance so that I get the benefit of reserved pricing ?

You can submit a modification request following the instruction in this document. However can you elaborate more on your question? If you purchase a Reserved Instance and you already have a running ON-Demand instance that matches the specifications of the Reserved Instance, the billing discount is applied immediately and automatically.
