I understand your frustration with the delay in processing your SES Production Access request, Thomas. This situation is not uncommon, and several users have reported similar experiences.

Based on the information available, here are a few points to consider:

  1. Processing times for SES Production Access requests can vary, and it's not unusual for it to take several days or even longer in some cases.

  2. The AWS SES team typically needs time to review the details provided and determine the next steps. They may be processing your request even if you haven't received a direct response yet.

  3. If you've provided additional information as requested, it's possible that your case is still under review. The lack of visible questions in your case doesn't necessarily mean it's not being processed.

  4. While waiting, it's advisable to keep an eye on both your support case and your email inbox for any updates or requests for additional information.

  5. If a significant amount of time has passed (e.g., more than a week) without any response, you might consider following up on your case. You could try using the chat option in AWS Support to inquire about the status of your request.

  6. Ensure that you've chosen an appropriate severity level for your case, as response times can vary based on the selected severity.

While the wait can be frustrating, especially when it impacts your business operations, it's important to be patient. AWS is generally diligent in processing these requests, but the timeline can vary based on various factors. If the delay becomes excessive, you may want to consider escalating your case through AWS Support channels.

Rest assured that AWS should eventually respond to your request. In the meantime, continue to monitor your case and email for any updates or requests for additional information.
