Hello Julian,
Thank you for your question about using Fleet Manager to access EC2 instances.
Unfortunately, Fleet Manager's Remote Desktop functionality does not currently support the use of multiple monitors. The Remote Desktop feature in Fleet Manager is designed to provide a single browser-based view of your Windows Server instances.
Fleet Manager allows you to connect to Windows Server instances using the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) directly from the AWS Systems Manager console. You can have up to four simultaneous connections in a single browser window, but each connection is limited to a single view.
While you can't use multiple physical monitors, you do have some options to adjust your view:
- You can expand the Remote Desktop session to full-screen mode within your browser.
- You can modify the resolution of the Remote Desktop session through the Actions menu.
These options might help you get a larger or more detailed view of your instance, even though true multi-monitor support isn't available.
If multi-monitor support is crucial for your work, you might need to consider using a traditional RDP client instead of Fleet Manager. However, this would require different setup and security considerations.
I hope this information helps clarify the capabilities of Fleet Manager's Remote Desktop feature. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
