AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery [DRS] initiate recovery\drill issue

Question

Hello guys!

I`ve configured the AWS DRS service in eu-central-1 region. 
There are few servers in sync with the status "Ready", but when I`m trying to initiate the recovery or drill - the console throws an error 
"Failed to initiate drill. One or more of the source servers initiated are currently recovering or launching"

While checking the current jobs (both in UI and CLI) there are no active recovering or launching instances.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

I've only encountered the same error when I tried to initiate drill/recovery of a Windows OS source server with BYOL option selected in Launch Settings > OS Licensing. Changing the setting to License Included solved the issue for me. Hope this helps.

Answer

After running the initiate drill from DRS console for a Linux server, I'm getting below error: "No file system can mount Root", "Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)"

Can you please suggest the possible solution here? @AWS
