I understand your concern about the S3 usage spike and the difficulty accessing support and billing information. The 403 errors you're experiencing might indicate an issue with your AWS account status.
Here are steps you can take to resolve this situation:
-
Check your email thoroughly for any notifications from AWS about your account status. There may be messages explaining why you're unable to access certain console features.
-
Your account might be on hold due to billing issues, which could explain why you can't access the Billing Dashboard or Support Center.
-
Try logging into the AWS Management Console through the main login page to see if you can access your account at all.
-
If you can access the console, look for any notifications or messages regarding your account status.
-
Since you can't access the regular support channels, you can try contacting AWS Support directly by:
- Opening a new browser or incognito window and going to the AWS Support Center
- Trying to create a support case under "Account and Billing Support"
- Using an alternative contact method if available
- If all else fails, look for AWS contact information on their main website to reach out through alternative channels.
Once you regain access, be sure to:
- Review all resources to identify what caused the S3 usage spike
- Set up billing alerts and budgets to prevent future surprises
- Regularly monitor your usage, especially for services you're not actively using
The 403 errors are likely related to an account status issue that needs to be resolved before you can access support or billing information.

None of these steps help my current situation. I tried reaching the Support URL from an incognito browser window and still receive a 403.
