Can I use a domain managed by GoDaddy on AWS?

0

Hello, I want to use my Godaddy managed domain in my AWS Lightsail containers. I think I need to use distribution for this. Is something like this possible? If so, how can I use it? Is there anything else you can suggest? Route53 etc. Things do not meet some of my needs so I have to choose this method.

Hello. Yes, you can use a domain managed by GoDaddy with AWS services, including AWS Lightsail containers. To achieve this, you'll need to set up the necessary DNS records in your GoDaddy account to point to your AWS resources. You can do this by configuring the DNS settings for your domain in the GoDaddy dashboard. Please follow this documentation to correctly setup the configuration https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amplify/latest/userguide/to-add-a-custom-domain-managed-by-godaddy.html Best regards, Andrii

  • I followed the steps in the documents you sent. Even though it has been about 24 hours, I am encountering such an error. image-> https://ibb.co/dMb89vQ

  • I suspect your dns records created are incorrect. Reconfirm you can resolve them manually

  • https://ibb.co/JtFntN4 I made my configuration by following the AWS documentation and I am sharing it with you in the attachment. I can't find my mistake

  • This is not exactly the situation I want. As far as I see in the video, Godaddy is moving its nameservers to AWS. I want to use a domain managed by Godaddy on AWS. I need to access my resources without moving nameservers.
