WorkSpaces Status Error Upon Creation

0

I have created several WorkSpaces over the past couple of weeks without any issues. I went to create one yesterdy and I get the following error: "There was an issue joining the WorkSpace to your domain. Verify that your service account is allowed to complete domain join operations. If you continue to see an issue, contact AWS Support." There are no issues with the service account, but I did update the password (on the DC and then in AWS) just to be on the safe side. Any other suggestions of why this would start causing issues out of nowhere?

Hello.

I have also experienced similar errors in the past.
At that time, I was able to resolve the issue by increasing the setting value of "ms-DS-MachineAccountQuota" for domain objects.
When registering multiple machines, you may need to check the value of "ms-DS-MachineAccountQuota".

There are other documents that contain troubleshooting information, so please check them out.

  • Took me a while to get back to this, but this was 100% my issue. Thanks.
