AWS new account

0

Hi,

What is going on with AWS new account registration? We are trying to register a new account for our company to make some services live. Its been 2 weeks since we have registered a new account and its stuck in verification process on AWS side. AWS called us for verification and that call was unfortunately missed and they suspended our account. Since then we are trying to reach AWS for re-activation of the account. We also have submitted the verification documents as well. But there is no response from AWS. I want to know why AWS is putting these type of restrictions on new account registration? I also find out that they have implemented the restriction of 1 vCPU for new account. This seems insane to me for a business account. If there is such a process AWS is willing to incorporate for new account then I wonder how businesses can rely on their services. Verification process taking 2 weeks and still we are nowhere. We are AWS customer for last 3-4 years but now this attitude is making us think to consider other cloud providers.

I hope for AWS official can look into this matter. Thanks
