SES IPs on SORBS block list

0

Hi, is there anyway to report SES IPs that end up on a block list?

Currently SORBS is reporting 69.169.232.2, 69.169.232.3, 69.169.232.4 and 69.169.232.5 on their block list. This is currently impacting emails being delivered to @hotmail.com and @outlook.com mailboxes.

I'm seeing a spike in NDR emails:

An error occurred while trying to deliver the mail to the following recipients: {username}@hotmail.com ------=_Part_4169428_1598380491.1644906249203 Content-Type: message/delivery-status Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Delivery Status Notification

Reporting-MTA: dns; b232-5.smtp-out.ap-southeast-2.amazonses.com

Action: failed Final-Recipient: rfc822; haybelsar@hotmail.com Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [69.169.232.5] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3140). You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. [DB8EUR05FT047.eop-eur05.prod.protection.outlook.com] Status: 5.7.1

Any ideas how to get Amazon to get these off the SORBS list?

Thanks, Bruce.

SORBS is one of the DNSBLs that Amazon is unable to have their IP removed from these lists . reference

The page above has several recommendations, such as contacting the postmaster of the domain that rejected your message. Since yours is a hotmail (you should edit that out), it is unlikely you will be able to get through to them.

You should consider using a dedicated IP address. The address is dedicated to you and allows you to control the reputation of that address.

Thanks @Jeremy_S - looks like a dedicated IP might be the only solution.

Cheers.
