GGv2 Outbound only connection set for core device(inbound ports blocked by device): Is it possible to use this pattern for Sitewise ingestion?

How does outbound only connection work when using Stream Manager to ingest data to a destination like Sitewise? Which port is used by GGv2 to send back data regarding API responses? As per this pattern(I don't have access to the full doc): https://www.internetofthingspatterns.com/patterns/security/outbound-only-connection/ Inbound communication happens only when an open session is established, is there a doc in AWS explaining this pattern for GGv2?

To ingest data into SiteWise, StreamManager establishes one or several outbound TLS connections to the SiteWise API endpoint, on which it sends the HTTP request for the API. It then receives the response for the call on the same connection.
