Hi,

I found issue when using AWS Simple Email Services, some users said they don't receive the email. so I tried from "send test email" button to send to these emails:

anyone have idea what's going on? is it caused by the receiver? or is it issue from AWS?

Thanks

Could you check here for the the resolution :- https://repost.aws/it/questions/QUYXIVBqNcRyuXb2DoIRp-Ew/ses-some-email-address-not-receiving-email

You can as well do the below checks too

Check SES Dashboard:

Review the sending statistics, bounces, and complaints in the SES dashboard. Look for patterns or specific issues with the recipient email addresses.

Email Logs: Check the email logs in AWS CloudWatch or SES console to see if there are any error messages or clues about the delivery status of your emails to specific addresses. Test Different Email Content:

Email Sending Rate and Limits:

AWS SES has sending limits (daily and per second). If these limits are exceeded, some emails might not be sent.

  • Hi, checked this:

Are recipients on your account-level suppression list? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/sending-email-suppression-list.html ---> No, the recipients aren't in the account-level suppression list

Did you experience any failures when monitoring SES activity events? https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/dg/monitor-sending-activity.html ---> I only monitor it from Virtual Deliverability Manager dashboard, is it enough?

SES Dashboard: the statistic is okay, not too much bounces / complaints.. and for the pattern, also some "gmail" email is only SEND event without DELIVERY event

  • Monitoring from the Virtual Deliverability Manager dashboard is not enough , can you check the logs and for the gmail ones Mailinator: Mailinator and other disposable email services often have strict spam filters. They might block or delay emails from certain sources or with specific content. Gmail: Gmail has robust spam detection mechanisms, but it appears that your email to firstskylady@gmail.com is being delivered successfully.

  • Hi, to check the logs, should I set "Monitor email sending using Amazon SES event publishing" or where can I check it? Thanks
