Unable to send email form Amazon WorkMail

0

Hi, I am trying to send emails from Amazon WorkEmail (directly from the console) but keep getting this message "You are currently not allowed to send this e-mail. Please try again later." It was all working fine until recently. The domain is verified with a green tick mark & the organisation is active as well. Googling previous similar issues suggest running out of quota but I haven't been sending any mails via this account so it can't be this issue.

Any pointers?

Regards,

WK

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems sending mail. This error is returned when you have reached the sending limit of your account. Are you using a custom domain or the free awsapps.com domain? The free awsapps.com domain has a very low limit so you might run into issues soon. If so this domain has a very low sending limit and not intended for production and its recommended to add a custom domain.

If you're using a custom domain, please check the support console if there are any open cases related to your WorkMail organization.

Also, Is your account new? In that case you can contact support to validate its is set-up correctly. Incorrectly set-up accounts can be flagged.

Please open up a Support case for a quicker response if in case you are running into production down environment.
