rds free disk space matrix
0
Hi All, Under cloudwatch matrix FreeStorageSpace for few RDS instances shows more GB compare to actual allocated. E.g. : Actual allocated space : 100 GB FreeStorageSpace : 103 GB
while for other RDS instances it was referring properly i.e. FreeStorageSpace less then actual allocated space.
Please advise .

Hi,
I see your problem mentioned above. It is impossible for FreeStorageSpace to be more than the allocated space. It is always the same or less.
You might needs to get those affected resources checked out by AWS Premium Support for further investigation.

Thank you for the information. I revalidated and in cloud watch matrix it is still showing the same way. But when checked with python & boto3 script, it does show proper.
