Based on the information provided, it appears you're working with the AWS BluAge L3 troubleshooting workshop and encountering an issue with the missing AWS.M2.CARDDEMO.TRANSACT.VSAM.KSDS dataset.

Looking at the data from the workshop, the TRANSACT.VSAM.KSDS file should typically be available along with the other VSAM KSDS files in the C:/Work/Resources/vsam-ksds directory. However, it's worth noting that in some cases, this particular file might be intentionally missing or empty as part of the workshop scenario.

In the dataset configuration for the workshop, AWS.M2.CARDDEMO.TRANSACT.VSAM.KSDS is defined as a VSAM KSDS dataset with a primary key length of 16 at offset 0, and a record length between 350 and 350 bytes.

To resolve this issue, you have a few options:

  1. Check if this is an intentional part of the workshop scenario - sometimes certain files are meant to be created or populated during the exercises rather than pre-loaded.

  2. If you need to load data for this file, you can try using the Blusam Administration Console (BAC) with the "server" option instead of the "local" option when loading datasets. This approach has helped other users experiencing similar issues with dataset loading.

  3. If you're still unable to locate the file, you might need to create an empty dataset with the correct structure using the BAC, which you can then populate through the workshop exercises.

  4. Verify that all your other configurations are correct, particularly in your application definition and database connections.

If these steps don't resolve your issue, you may need to contact the workshop instructor for specific guidance, as they might be able to provide the missing file or clarify if its absence is intentional for the workshop scenario.
