Cloudfront Stack Distribution Deletion Stuck on DELETE_IN_PROGRESS

The Events tab in the console should show more detail about which resources it's trying to delete. Some resources can take quite some time to delete, but deletion can also get stuck if permissions block some operations. If the Events tab shows some specific resources being in the process of being deleted, you might want to check the CloudTrail event view for related operations. Access denied and other failure messages would typically show there.
