I have configured all as per video, using classic LB (as in video) however the instances both remain out of service failing to pass health checks, any suggestions?

  • Can you share your configuration (without exposing sensitive information)?

  • Sorry but what do you want me to share exactly and how?

  • How are your health checks configured?

  • I have figured this out now, the way then guide tells you to start the httpd is using init.d, needs updating to use systemctl, as the service didnt start the health checks failed. Also the security groups section could be clearer as doesn't seem to work as presented but seem to be using an old AWS anyway.

Hi there!

We will review the article for accuracy. In the meantime the steps to configure your ELB will depend on the type of ELB you are using. Please check the following documentation with the proper steps for each type:

I hope this helps.
