You can try and raise a support ticket with all the information explaining what’s occurred. AWS may cancel this for you.

You cannot cancel a reserved instance, but you can sell it on the AWS Reserved Instance Marketplace. The suggested price might seem odd, but it's based on demand and other sellers' pricing. Contact AWS Support for assistance if needed... My suggestion is to contact AWS support team then you can find a solution to this .

Hi! What happened with your wrong reservation? Did you open AWS support ticket and if so, did they allow you to cancel the wrong reservation or modify it to the correct region? I'm in a similar situation and opened a support ticket but still waiting for their decision. That is why I'm curious about the outcome.
