Thank you for pointing this out. There was a bug where instance role arns submitted via the new console were not saved properly.
The bug has since been fixed. If you have a fleet that needed an instanceRoleArn, please recreate that fleet so it will have your desired role.
Let us know if you continue to see any problems saving the role arn. And thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
