Restore Document DB snapshots into the same cluster

I have a Document DB cluster running. I have taken snapshots of it. Now I have to remove all the data's in it and restore the snapshot back into my cluster. How to achieve this? I tried snapshots -> restore->cluster Identifier. It doesn't do it to old existing cluster. Asks for new cluster identifier

Hi, While you restore DocumentDB cluster snapshots , it restores as new cluster. It is a limitation that you cannot restore the snapshots to existing cluster. Please take a look at this documentation for more details about restoring snapshots. Hope this helps.
