Stuck in Stopping State for Days

I have a lightsail instance that is stuck in a stopping state. amzls-custom-ap-southeast-2-2019-08-07-13-29-44-nec9r54c How to fix? Can delete either.... Cheers, Shaun

Hi Shaun,

I believe you wanted to stop your lightsail instance and it got stuck on “Stopping” state for days, you can’t also delete it. I would advise you to force stop your instance through the AWS CLI, resolution steps are provided to force stop the instant [1]. I will also recommend to first setup an AWS CLI if one is not already available [2].
