How to check/see if I have a preferred vault for the expired Recovery Point. AWS need a vault to put the expired RP then I will be able to delete the backup.

If you have the original vault where the Recovery points were first created, AWS Service team would create the Expired recovery points in that vault. IF the original vault doesn't exist, they will create them in the Default vault.
