Lightsail DNS and WorkMail don't work together?

I have a domain name registered at eNOM. I have pointed the domain name to Lightsail. I have created a static IP in Lightsail, created all DNS records requested of WorkMail. Doesn't work.

I can send email from WorkMail, but can not receive.

I added the domain permissions policies to the user. Doesn't work.

I have no idea where to look next.

Are all domains required for WorkMail verification "Verified"?
Is CloudWatch Logs enabled in WorkMail and are there any error logs being output?

Yes all verified. I've added a "mail." subdomain, added all the records.

I turned on the logging and see the emails I'm able to send from the address.

When I send to the address I get no error, undeliverable, bounce, etc..... It just disappears :)

No I messed around a little bit more. Simply doesn't work and I'm not going to bother with such a simple task being made extraordinarily cumbersome for no reason while charging for it.

Deleted and moved on.
