I cannot add my AWS certifications to my re:Post profile.

I'd like to add my AWS certifications to my re:Post profile. When I tried to add the certifications I got the following error.

Enter image description here

The email address attached to the Credly certificates is my previous work email address. I no longer have that email address available due to resignation.

I have created a Credly account with my current available email address and have transferred my certification batches to that account. The email address of my Credly account matches the email address of my re:post profile.

Can't I add my certificates if the email address when I got the certificates is not available?

Thank you.

I had the same problem. You can contact AWS Training and Certification (https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/aws-training). They can reissued your badges under your preferred e-mail address. Then you can add your certificates to your re:Post profile.

you can add more email addresses in Credly. Setting - Account - Email addresses. Add the email that is used for re:Post. Make is the default one in Credly settings.

  • Thank you! Checking the answer you share, the Credly API replies with a one-way SHA256 of the recipient's email "at the time of receiving the badge", and compares a hash of the currently verified re:Post email to test for a match. I cannot verify my email address "at the time of receiving the budge" because the address is no longer available.

If any of you are still facing this issue, what you can do is change the default email in re:Post to the original issued email and later revert it back to any email of your liking
