Selling a blueprint in AWS lightsail

Hello,

We are a medium sized software vendor in the http web server market.

We are interested in selling or providing a blueprint of our software in AWS lightsail that would allow AWS lightsail users to deploy blueprints containing our software. Similar to how you can build an Apache or Nginx blueprint in AWS lightsail. Could someone please provide documentation or guidance on this?

Without knowing anything about your software other than the fact that it is an HTTP server it is difficult to direct you. However putting myself into your shoes, I would explore AWS Marketplaces first rather than LightSail. Developing an AMI based offering and putting it in marketplace might be a better / faster route to the market and monetisation of your software. Also EC2 instances does have a much larger pool of users compared to lightSail so you are better of targeting that. If you haven't explore applying for an ISV partner program you might want to consider that as a route into AWS in general. https://aws.amazon.com/partners/paths/. In the process you will to go through a foundational technical review of your software which is an important stage gate for your software.
