Find what I am billed for

0

Hello everyone!

Finance team of company in which we have recently took over administration asked us to change currency on invoices. Thanks to that I have found out that we are getting bill with Account number I do not see in our AWS organization

We have multiple AWS accounts but none of them have number which is provided on the invoice (all other invoices have numbers of existing AWS accounts)

Is there a way I can find out what is this bill for?

Hi,

You can check out this article which may help you with locating this bill.

Specifically check out the section 'Someone in your organization created the account' as it speaks directly to your issue. If this does not help, the article also includes steps to getting support for this.

Hello,

A few things you can do:

  • Contact AWS Support with the details of the charges. They will be able to investigate further and help determine which AWS account the charges are coming from.

  • Make sure to check for any unused or abandoned AWS accounts that may still have active resources incurring charges.

AWS support would be the best resource to work with directly on tracing the source of the unexpected charges on your statement to resolve the issue.

Refer to this documentation if you need to close an account
